Pensacola’s Local Product Guide

1

Whether you’re looking to discover a new local product, stuff a wedding welcome bag, or bring something home from a memorable vacation, Pensacola has lots to offer! A stroll through Palafox Market on a Saturday morning is a game changer!

Lately, I learned of so many local businesses popping up as I was putting together a welcome bag for family so I decided to put together my TOP 10 local products.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Renfroe’s Pecans

This family-owned pecan plant and shop has been around since the mid-1970s and recently opened a second location near downtown. They grow and harvest the best pecans around, and their shops include dozens of pecan-inspired treats to share with loved ones. They are famous for their Pecan Logs and Pralines, but my personal favorite is the Chocolate Butter Toffee Pecans. Shop in-store or online; they even ship!

East Hill Honey

Locally sourced delicious honey and all sorts of honey products, including candles and lip balms. Find it online, in local grocery stores like Everman’s, or at Palafox Market on Saturdays.

Pensacola Candle Company

Pensacola Candle Company candles are hand-poured in Pensacola, FL. Owner Hannah began her business in 2020 in the middle of Covid because she had always had a passion for candles. She believes that candles spread light, and we are called to “be the light of the world”.  PCC candles are a unique blend of coconut soy wax, a cotton wick, and safe fragrances to create a clean-burning experience that soothes the soul. You can shop for her candles online or find them at selected retailers listed here.

Apple Market Candied Jalapeños

For the spice lover in your life, these candied jalapeños will be a revelation. Put them on anything from sandwiches to pizza. Find them at Apple Market while they last.

Bodacious Olive Oils & Vinegars

Bodacious carries dozens of infused and specialty olive oils and vinegars. My favorites are the lemon or garlic, but you can’t go wrong with their classic extra virgin olive oil ranging in strength from mild to robust. Visit their downtown shop to pick some up or order online.

DeLuna Coffee

With delicious blends like Graffiti Bridge, Blue Angels, and White Sands, DeLuna nods to all that makes Pensacola great in offering elite coffee. Also, all sale proceeds of their Midnight Shift blend go to the Rally Foundation of Pensacola to aid children fighting cancer. Order grinds or whole beans online or find them at Palafox Market on Saturdays.

MalWest Design

Local artist Mallory Coats offers exquisite, hand-painted watercolors and transforms them into unique gifts, stationery, and home goods. You’ll find something for just about anyone with her beautiful, coastal-inspired designs. Order on her website or browse at Rusted Arrow Mercantile.

Taste of Pensacola

When you just can’t decide on one thing and want to share a LOT of Local LOVE, Taste of Pensacola has you covered with their signature gift boxes full of locally curated products. Browse the different boxes and order online.

Big Jerk Soda

Big Jerk Soda Co. makes bold craft soda and seltzer products in Pensacola, FL. Their sodas and seltzers are made from real fruit juice ingredients or all natural extracts with no artificial colors, dyes, preservatives or caffeine. They are vibrant in design, come in a fglass bottle and you can find them at many local shops around town.

Pensacola Candles

Pensacola Candles offer signature scents for many of Pensacola’s beloved neighborhoods. I’m partial to the original Pensacola Candle, but East Hill is another favorite of mine. You can find these at Artesana Imports while they last.
