Welcome to Pensacola Mom Collective! We are so glad you are here!

If the last several months have taught us anything, it’s the importance of community and connections, especially when it comes to raising our kids. As moms, we do our very best to make the right choices for our families, but the decisions aren’t always easy. Sometimes, we need advice, help, information, laughter, support, or maybe just a good cry.

Pensacola Mom Collective was created out of a need for a community where all moms are celebrated, loved, supported, and empowered. There are no right or wrong answers here – only different perspectives, experiences, and (hopefully) some lessons learned.

Our goal is to bring you content written by local moms right here in our community and provide you with resources to help your family grow and thrive. We have a team of over 20 writers who bring boundless energy and passion to this endeavor. These women are single moms, stepmoms, moms of multiples, foster moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms, new moms, seasoned moms, moms of children with autism, ADHD, diabetes, and cancer, moms who have suffered through post-partum depression, and moms who have experienced loss.

However, Pensacola Mom Collective is more than just this team of writers.

Pensacola Mom Collective is YOU!

Pensacola Mom Collective is a place where we can acknowledge our differences while supporting one another in the shared experiences of motherhood.  With that in mind, we plan to periodically feature guest contributors from our community and further add to the racial and ethnic diversity of our content.

In addition, through partnerships with local and national businesses, we will connect you to trusted resources and products to make your job as “Chief Operating Officer” of your household a little easier. On the local level, we are thrilled to offer our very first Pensacola Mom Collective VIP card featuring discounts and promotions at over 40 Pensacola area businesses. There are a limited number of VIP cards available, so be sure to purchase yours today!

Hopefully, in the not too distant future, we will be able to gather for local in-person events to help you connect with other moms and families in your neighborhoods. In the meantime, this online community is a resource for you and your families. Our website and social media platforms will be the place to find local resource guides, relevant content, and services, including partnerships with local area businesses.

They say it takes a village, and that’s what Pensacola Mom Collective is…YOUR village, no matter who you are, or where you are, on your journey of motherhood.

Jen Kinsella
The Navy brought Jen and her family to Pensacola in 2018 following a 3-year tour in Belgium. Born and raised in the Midwest, Jen’s career path took her to Washington, D.C., after college, where she lived until she married her husband, Tim, in 2007. Balancing family and career against the backdrop of military life has made her appreciate the importance of friendships, connections, and finding your “mom tribe” wherever “home” may be. While living in Belgium, Jen took on her most challenging role to date, that of a stay-at-home-mom to her two sons, Timothy and Charlie. In this position, she has been forced to face her fear of cooking, has learned that you never “catch up” on laundry and that she continuously works longer hours for less pay! Fueled by coffee, Pure Barre, and dry shampoo, she feels like she’s “winging it” when it comes to motherhood most of the time, but couldn’t imagine a more rewarding journey. She continues to learn from her kids every day.
