Pensacola’s Best Mocktails

For anyone who has found themselves at a restaurant and wanting more than another water with citrus, this post is for you! Sadly, simply eliminating the alcohol from a craft cocktail doesn’t always work out. But many local restaurants have begun to offer specially curated AF drinks.

Whether you are waiting on a baby or enjoying sobriety, we hope you’ll love Pensacola’s Best Mocktails! 

Union Public House

UPH takes their mocktails very seriously, with a dedicated AF section on their drink menu.  I loved the Dry 75, an AF twist on a French 75. For all the margarita lovers out there, the Sultry Rythem is the only mocktail in town with a non-alcoholic tequila. But my favorite was the Amaro Fizz: a yummy beet juice soda. 

Garden & Grain

Located in a beautiful outdoor space behind Perfect Plain Brewing Company, Garden & Grain has two mocktails on their menu: the Pineapple Collins and a Strawberry Lemonade. And we won’t judge if you opt for a mocktail of queso from Tacos Mexicanos, the dedicated food truck right next to the bar. 

Restaurant Iron

While Iron may not have a dedicated mocktail menu, their bartenders are some of the very best in town and can come up with a special creation to suit your fancy. One of their off-menu but frequently requested mocktails is the Blackberry Basil Smash. It checks every box: delicious, beautiful, and isn’t too sweet or acidic.

World of Beer

Craft beer more up your alley? World of Beer carries several AF beers for you to try. They also have craft sodas and a handful of AF draft mocktails to enjoy.

If you find yourself at a place that doesn’t seem to have many AF options, here are a few easy combinations most resto-bars will have on hand:

Bitters and Soda – Club Soda, Dashes of Bitters, Citrus Garnish

Cherry Lime Ricky – Club Soda, Lime Juice, Cherry Juice, Cherry Garnish

Napoloma – Grapefruit Juice, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, Splash Club Soda, Salted Rim

AF Margarita – Tonic Water, Orange Juice, Lime Juice, Lemon Juice, Citrus Garnish

AF Madras – Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Splash Club Soda
