Summer vacation is here and it’s time to make memories!
Let me suggest a fun, easy way to connect with your family and friends both near and far. Form a small group and have everyone agree to take a photo a day for 30 days in a monthly picture challenge. Then share your photos.
During the late summer of the 2020 pandemic, my kids and I did this with their grandmother and one of my nieces for 30 days. We all have cell phones, and with cameras built-in, we could easily snap pictures and share them using a group text.
Two months ago, I repeated a similar challenge with my other niece and two daughters from a different photo challenge list. It was fun to see how we would interpret the suggested photo each day. From selfies to food in the fridge to weather-related images, we captured different perspectives and learned a lot about each other.
Now I want to share our favorite photo suggestions as a summer to-do list for you to try. My family and I chose our favorite photos from the two lists and added new ones that we wished had been on the others.
