For the Rainy Days: PMC’s Guide to Local Indoor Activities

0

There are four seasons in a year in most parts of the country, but around Northwest Florida, it often seems more like two; a dry season and a wet season. Pensacola and the surrounding area have outdoor activities to get the daily recommended dose of Vitamin D, but what activities do we have for those rainy days and random pop-up showers during hurricane season?

Let’s take a glance at some of the best indoor activities our area has to offer!

QUIET ACTIVITIES

Our local libraries have calendars of events all year, but during the summer months, special events are added to keep children engaged in learning, reading, and social interaction with their peer groups.

Visiting a local library can be a great way to spend some time reading or working on a quiet activity while waiting for the rain to pass. And for teenagers, the library is a great place to volunteer!
